Lounge Room (Blender)

Here is the finished result of a blender tutorial done at "blenderguru.com" I did some after affects in Photoshop after the 1.5 hour render. I did not model any of the furniture or books. I did do all of the lighting and model placement, as well as the giving the floor a material.
(1000 cycles)

Evil Engineer! FINISHED!

Hey everybody!  Finally finished the digital painting. Check it out below, and tell me what you think! Also, the other two images are, just messing with lighting. The mountain was done with the internal render engine, and the cubes were made with cycles.

Cycles

There is a cool thing that has been added to blender, it is called Cycles. In a nutshell, it renders the image as a whole, calculating where the rays of light and color bounce off objects into the camera. This makes images much more realistic, as it is more closely replicating the actual world. There are some amazing things that people have made using this new feature. Another program called LuxRender, uses a similar but more sophisticated algorithm these.
Here are some more cycles images, all are created in blender. In the last image you can see some graininess, this will go away if you let it keep rendering. Tell me which is your favorite in the comments below! Thanks for reading, and don't forget to subscribe!

Blender projects

This is just a little cat bell toy, made with the program Blender. I wasn't to hard to make, and I just got the wood floor texture off of google pictures.

The program "Blender" can be downloaded from the site: http://www.blender.org/download/get-blender/

Blender projects

Recently I have been working quite a bit with blender, and here are some more pictures that I have made, then rendered. Some have taken a while, and others haven't.
This is modeled after my self, but I have not attached the ear to my head or added textures and hair, which I plan to do.

I did not make the monkey. I just put a screen together playing with the different settings.

Tell me what you think, and if you like them. Which is your favorite? Tell me in the comments below!

Working with Blender

Recently I have been working with a program called blender, which is an open source program. I posted about it before. You can go to their site here: http://www.blender.org/. I have learned to do this mostly by online video tutorials, and just practice, practice, practice! And I am "new" to this program! There are amazing things people have done with it. Just look around a bit on their site. You can go to the download link here: http://www.blender.org/download/get-blender/. Also, if you are a mac user, you might want to download "magicprefs" it will make it so that you have a middle click on your magic mouse.
Here are the pictures. I did all of these.
This is the first Micro organism/virus that I did.
This is the second Micro organism/virus that I did.
Here is a picture of the program in the process of getting ready to render it.
This is the third Micro organism/virus that I did. This one took the least amount of work to make.

A goblin guy that I made a while ago
A different angle of the goblin.
A model of an elf like guy.
Picture of the elf guy inside the program, before rendering. I did this one a long time ago.
This is the one that was the longest time ago, and I forgot to save this mesh, so this is the only thing I have left of it.
Just a simple mountain range. The texture is made up of a picture I took on a road trip of the asphalt where it was cracked.

I also made two animations, The first is not very good at all, and it was my first. The second was better, and it is my second animation.

Please tell me what you think! I enjoy reading your comments!

Blender!

One of my friends is going to robotics with Chad (That is where they build huge robots to do objectives on a course. I think they weigh about 100 pounds!)and he is doing the animation part of the program, in they are using a program called "Blender". There are a lot of movies being made with this program too. I have been messing around with the program, and watching a few tutorials. This is my second creation.
This is supposed to be a ball on top of a cube.
The second one that I made is the image below
And the third,

This one is an alien! I took a screen shot of the program, but it didn't display the bottom.
This is the last and best one that I have made:
FRONT
SIDE

Tell me what you think, and what you think that I could do better.
the site that this program is at is in the link: www.blender.org
