Manga Boy (2)

Here is my progress. Just so you guys know, the scribbles are hirigana, and mean "ami" the japanese word for rain.

Manga Boy (1)

I started drawing manga recently, and I have been practicing, and checking out every book in the library on the subject. I also saw a friends manga art and decided that I liked it. Also, about two weeks ago I went to a manga art class too. Then a few days ago I bought a pogo sketch and Inklet, which arrived yesterday. The pogo sketch is basically a stylus that transfers your electric curent though the tip. Inklet makes a pressure sensitive and turns a magic trackpad or macbook track pad into a drawing tablet. It cost about $30 If you buy them together. I am using Inklet with adobe photo shop. You can try a demo of inklet from the ten one site. I have been testing it out and here is the progress. By the way, I will add hair.

Thanks for looking!

Manga

I did this one a while back too, just wondering, was I supposed to pencil it first, and then ink it.
